Important Car AC

Today is the third day of the local cheese festival and luckily, everything has gone down without a hitch. We are lucky to have travelled really easily and we even get a police escort between festivals. Cheesy the Cheese Cube is hot property and the main attraction of the festival. People come to taste the cheese and stay to watch Cheesy the Cheese Cube do his thing. I’m responsible for making that happen.

We’re halfway through the festival now which is a major success. Every day that I get to my next stop safely and on time, I thank the European car mechanic close to Frankston for making it a possibility. I wouldn’t have felt so secure if it wasn’t for him. The whole reason I got the job is that I drive an old European car, and Cheesy the Cheese Cube is really obsessed with Europe at the moment. To put it simply, whatever Cheesy says goes and that’s a fact.

As I drive Cheesy to and fro, I wonder to myself what he’s thinking about. When he’s performing at the festival he’s so fun and personable, but as soon as we get in the car he is silent. We haven’t said two words to each other this entire time. Does he just need time to recover after being so ‘on’ for so long, or is there something more mysterious going on? Anyway, I don’t ask questions. I just drive.

It’s also my job to make sure that everything is perfect for Cheesy at all times, which is why last week I got a car air conditioning service. Frankston is extremely hot in the summer, and Cheesy, being a cheese cube, would probably melt in the heat. I wouldn’t want to argue with the powers at be if that happened.

I’m very happy to say that the local cheese festival has been a success. We have just arrived at Sorrento which means my work here is done.
