I dyed my hair purple last week, and now there is a whole new routine I have to follow when I wash my hair. To ensure my purple hair doesn’t fade or become an ugly brown colour, I have to use a special colour-preserving shampoo and conditioner, and only wash using cold water.
This is already pretty difficult for someone like me, who is unable to follow basic instructions. To make matters worse, this morning my shower sprung a leak! Yep, I was taking a shower this morning when I heard a strange hissing sound, and I looked up to notice that water was spilling all across my bathroom. This sort of thing has never happened to me before, and I don’t know of any Melbourne companies offering leaking shower repair services.
I immediately called my best friend, who is quite knowledgeable about all this stuff. She suggested I look for companies in my area and give one of them a call if their website looked professional. So that’s what I did. Since my hair is so high maintenance, it’s really quite important that I get my shower fixed as soon as possible so that I can continue with my haircare routine.
Luckily, the company offered to come out immediately, and one of their employees was at my house within the hour. This employee told me that their bathroom refurbishment ideas are unparalleled, and that I should think about renovating my bathroom altogether. I certainly did have a think about that idea. My bathroom is extremely outdated. I mean, that’s part of the reason why my shower sprung a leak in the first place. It hasn’t been renovated at all since it was first built several decades ago. The grout is peeling away from the tiles. The stainless steel sink is definitely not stainless anymore. I spent a lot of money on my hair, so I don’t have much leftover for a full bathroom renovation, but I took the employee’s business card anyway.
