Moving In For Summer

Well, it’s the first day of summer and my husband and I have moved into our freshly built holiday home on the Mornington Peninsula. It is absolutely stunning. The luxury home builders worked extremely hard on our build, and every intricate detail is more extravagant than the last. As I am sitting in my brand new kitchen and admiring the Mediterranean-style architecture, I know my husband and I made the right choice by choosing Sorrento as the destination for our holiday home.

I am so appreciative of my husband for doing his research on the building companies on the Mornington Peninsula before selecting the builders he chose. The builders were absolutely incredible and worked tirelessly to achieve a home that is up to our standards. I will be recommending these builders to my entire family and social circle. Many of them are looking to build holiday homes for the same reason we did – the inability to travel overseas for a long time.

I’m very much looking forward to spending time with my husband this summer away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We will spend our days on the beach and our evenings eating cheese platters and sipping cocktails. We have hired a chef for the summer so that we can enjoy our time without the responsibilities of everyday life. We will share the number of our luxury home architects far and wide, so that anyone who can afford to live like us, can. We aren’t greedy. We just like the finer things in life – things that we can afford.

This will be the end of this blog series now that we have moved in. There’s not much left to say other than the fact this is going to be the best summer ever. I used to think life couldn’t be better than when we were young. I was so wrong. Being in our forties has been incredible.
