I’m Coming, Conveyancing

On his way to the best conveyancing firm Caulfield had to offer, Cosmo saw something strange happening across the street. A young person lay on the pavement, shaking from the cold in his tattered rags. Three teenagers nearby pointed and laughed at the young boy.

The sight heated the forge within Cosmo. Oh, times had changed for creatures like Cosmo and this young boy, but things were still far from perfect.

Well, I’m not just going to stand around and watch, am I? Cosmo asked himself, pacing toward the bullies. No, you’re on your way to the best firm for conveyancing Prahran has, where you’re literally going to change the world. But first, you’re going to change this young boy’s world!

Five minutes later, both Cosmo and the boy lay groaning in the street, ruthlessly beaten up by the bullies. Courage and good intentions Cosmo might have had, but at the end of the day, he was still a one-metre tall kobold weighing about as much as a sack of wheat. “You okay, kid?” Cosmo asked, rubbing his head.

The boy jumped onto his feet in one, swift motion. “Hey, I’m no kid, Mister. I’m 33 years old! What were you thinking, getting involved? I had those bullies handled.”

Cosmo sighed and sat up. “Well, I’m sorry. I just assumed you were a kid because you’re so short.”

“I’m taller than you!”

“Yeah, but you’re short for a man. Anyway, I was heading to see some conveyancing lawyers close to Highett when I spotted what was happening to you. I just wanted to help.”

“Oh yeah, a great deal of help you’ve done.” The goblin blew a wisp of thin hair from his eyes. “Best beating I’ve had in a while. Thank you, good samaritan. You’re such a great hero, that I have been inspired to join you on your quest!”

Cosmo shrugged. “You’re welcome to tag along, little goblin.”

“I was being highly sarcastic, but I guess I’ve got nothing better to do.”

And with that, the two new friends headed toward Mentone to find the perfect conveyancing lawyers.
